Technical Director & Men's First Team Coach

Sam coaches our Men's first team, and is responsible for ensuring we provide the best possible football experience for players of all abilities in grades 6 to 12, including through the development and delivery of junior programmes, coach education and support, and community engagement initiatives.


  • Bachelor of Sport & Exercise

  • OFC / NZF B Licence

  • NZF Youth level 3

  • FIFA coach educators certificate


Sam has a wealth of junior coaching experience at club and regional level.  Sam's experience includes:

  • Capital Football Federation Development Officer (2017 - 2019) (junior football lead for the Hutt and Wairarapa region, coach education lead and involved in the girls and womens football space, including as the assistant national women's league coach)

  • Director of Youth Football at Petone FC (2016)

  • Wellington Phoenix Academy Assistant Coach (2015)

  • Director of Junior Football at Tawa FC  (2013 - 2015)

  • Capital Football Age Group coach (2016 - 2019)

Junior Lead Coach & Girls Coaching Director

Kaley leads coaching in the junior and girls space, working with the club’s young female football and futsal players. Kaley joined us on her arrival from the US in 2019 where she played four years at University level for the University of Tampa and University of West Florida.

Men's Reserves Head Coach

Jared leads our Men's Reserves team having worked coaching in both our junior and youth space since 2019.  Jared joined us on his return from the US where he coached at University level. This followed a playing career where he played for 4 years and studied at Spring Arbor University in Michigan. He has also coached various youth teams throughout his playing and coaching career.
